There are some things that life throws at you that you can just learn to deal with and some things that you just can’t. Suffering the effects of acne is one of those things that no matter how you try to ignore it, it just doesn’t ever go away. Unfortunately many people see your blemishes before they see the real you and even if you know they appear not to, you always end up feeling self conscious. And when you feel self conscious you end up worrying more about what the other person is thinking, rather than what you are thinking or how you are feeling.

It’s like a blemished view of the world and it does affect how you act. So really there comes a point where severe acne is no longer conducive to a happy or healthy life and you need to do something about it. But where do you start? Doing your homework is always the best place to begin. You really want to find a product that has a few key components and a few key effects. First of all, finding a product that is made from natural ingredients is really important. Adding chemicals to the mix when your skin is already challenged would not be the first route to take.

Secondly, you should look for a product that is fully guaranteed. If a company is selling a product and doesn’t stand behind it, then that is a good reason to be weary. There is less reason to believe the claims and testimonials if the company is not willing to offer you your hard earned money back if it doesn’t work for you. Not every product made works the same for each person, so a company has to realize that and be willing to put their money where their claims are.

Thirdly, look for an organization that clearly spells out what the ingredients are and what the effects of these ingredients will have on your skin condition. You really want to know what you are putting on your skin or what you’re putting in your body. Chemical laden products can have adverse side effects that can actually end up irritating your system even more, causing more stress, which in turn can create more acne.

Finally for an acne product to really be effective, it should work internally and externally. Acne is not just caused by external forces such as dirt; it also can be affected by what you take into your body. Some things that you eat can have a detrimental affect on your skin, so taking a product that can help balance out the adverse internal effects will ultimately be more effective.

Clear Pores is a three-part skin cleansing system that does all the above and more. It works effectively internally and externally to help reduce blemishes, reduce inflammation and swelling, and remove debris and impurities, leaving your skin clean, blemish free and clear. So there is no need to look any further. Clear Pores really is the one stop shop for blemish-free skin and a clearer future.

How to clean skin with acne

Acne problems are something that can be prevented with proper skin care and cleansing but the most common question is – what to do when acnes are already there and how can regular pore cleansing affect this problem? If your acne problems are a hereditary factor, which can be a frequent case of  skin problems, then acnes were something that you couldn’t avoid. You can, however, aid the healing process significantly by cleansing your face properly. The right acne treatment is something that only a doctor can prescribe to you. But pore cleansers, combined with the treatment, can really help in speeding up the healing process. However, it’s extremely important to know what to use and how to use it to make sure you are doing everything in your power to aid the curing process.

1. Your acne treatment is for the acne- not for your entire face. It will help the problem subside, but you still have to cleanse you face from all the impurities that get built up in the pores during the day. This way you enable the skin to breathe and regenerate and help it battle acne more effectively. Cleaning the irritated face is something you must do a few times during the day to prevent more clogged pores and more acne problems.

2. Since your skin is damaged you have to avoid using harsh and abrasive skin cleansers. Don’t irritate an already irritated skin because you can only make the problem become worse. Use mild cleansers, like cream or gel based ones. If you don’t have big acne problems you can even use a gentle scrub- you just have to be very careful and apply it gently. Using non comedogenic oils like castor, olive or jojoba oil , to flush pores is also good. Non comedogenic means that it doesn’t stay in the pores and doesn’t clog them.

3. Get a pore cleanser designed specifically for people with acne problems. These cleansers contain  benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or even both, and help to suppress acne very effectively. Some even say that this is the most effective addition to the prescribed  medical acne treatment. It’s also important to know that your skin may develop the resistance to a specific product after some time so it’s best to use a few different ones to prevent that.

How to clean a combination skin

Combination skin is sometimes difficult to deal with because the T zone (the area of the nose and forehead) is oily but the rest of the skin is dry or normal. That’s why this skin type requires the most care and dedication for optimal skin cleansing. It can be done but it will require a little additional effort because you will probably have to use different products for oily and different for dry parts of the face.

For T zone- Oily face parts should be treated with regular cleansers designed for oily skin. Pore cleansing strips are also great for this area because they will provide optimal pore cleansing without damaging the other, more sensitive, parts of the skin. You see, the pores in the nose area are usually larger so they get filled with dirt quickly and cleaning them regularly with a harsh cleanser can cause the dry skin parts to become red and itchy. This problem can easily be solved with strips, just apply the strip over the part you need to clean, press it gently and then pull off.

For dry parts- Dry parts of the face should be cleansed with cream based cleansers which will unclog the pores but will not cause the skin to become even more dry. These cleansers provide moisture and needed vitamins and minerals thus making the skin softer. Gel or cream masks are also a great way of providing hydration for these dry areas. Since the mask can be applied to only targeted, dry areas you can use it very frequently without worrying will it cause the oily T zone to become even more oilier.

For the optimal pore cleansing results combine two types of cleansers, one in the morning and one in the evening. The cleanser you use in the morning should be designed for oily skin, it will relieve your face of excess oil and prevent it become shiny during the day. The cleanser you use in the evening should be a cream cleanser for dry skin. It will provide moisture and nutrients for the dry parts. Face mask is also something you should do at least once a week and for dry parts you can do it even two or three times per week. Make sure you use two different masks- apply the clay mask to oily parts and gel or cream mask to dry parts. That way you will always have perfectly clean, healthy and conditioned skin.

Homemade masks for oily skin

When topic of clogged pores and effective blackhead removal is brought up, the most mentioned problems are the ones connected with oily skin type. Skin of oily type produces much more oil than normally and the pores are much bigger. Big pores are more likely to attain more dirt, oil and dead skin cells and that’s why people with oily skin have more blackheads. For that reason they should dedicate more time to their pore cleansing routines and pick natural products that will clean and condition the skin without over drying it thus forcing it to produce even more oil.

Natural homemade masks are ideal for removing impurities from the skin and they are pretty easy to make. I mean, even since we were kids our moms made us eat fruit and vegetables because they are healthy, right? Well, what’s good for your body inside- it’s good for your body outside. That is quite logical. Cleansing and nourishing face masks are an ideal solution because they are extremely cheap and equally effective as very expensive ones. All the stuff you need can be found in every supermarket so it’s definitely worth trying out. Try these two recipes, for example, I’m sure you will love them.

Tomato facial mask:

Tomato is ideal for shrinking those large pores that are so typical for oily skin. This gentle mask will clean and refresh your skin making it more radiant. The preparation itself is very easy and you need just one tomato and one lemon. First, mash one medium tomato. Add a little bit of grinded lemon peel  and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Wash your face with a regular face cleaner you use every day. Apply the mixture and leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Oatmeal, apple and honey mask:

These ingredients are nature’s top three when it comes to solving oily skin problems. Oatmeal absorbs the excess oil without over drying the skin, apple contains fruit acids that clean and unclog the pores and honey’s antibacterial properties prevent breakouts and acne. Boil one half of an apple and squish it. Add two teaspoons of raw grinded oatmeal and one teaspoon of honey. Mix until you get an even mixture you can apply on the face. Apply the mask on the clean face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

Homemade facial scrubs

Facial scrubs are the ideal product for continuous skin care and battle against clogged pores and those ugly blackheads. They contain micro beads and nurturing elements that clean, condition and gently exfoliate your skin so using them regularly can significantly reduce blackhead formation. You see, blackheads are dirt, oil and dead skin cells that remain in the pores and a good facial scrub should remove all that and allow your skin to breathe and renew. Off course, too much scrubbing can damage the skin so a scrub should be used only once a week.

Contrary to many beliefs, a good scrub doesn’t have to cost a fortune! In the matter of fact, some of the best skin care products can be made at home from scratch and they don’t cost the half of what you would have to pay for your average bottle of face scrub. Oatmeal, salt or even pineapple are great exfoliates and you can get them in every supermarket! Here is a few recipes for making natural and cheap face scrubs your skin will absolutely love.

Salt facial scrub:

Wash your face to remove superficial impurities. Mix one teaspoon of your washing cream with two teaspoons of salt to get a gritty mass. Apply the mixture to the face in circular gentle moves. Be careful not to scrub too hard- the goal is to remove dead skin cells, not the healthy ones! Also avoid the sensitive skin around the eyes. Then take a wet towel or cosmetic pad and slowly remove the paste. Rinse again with lukewarm water and apply a good moisturizer. You will be amazed how softer and nicer looking you skin will be after this.

Oatmeal facial scrub:

Grind 1-2 tablespoons of raw oatmeal and mix with honey. Add honey until you get a smooth sticky mass. Apply it on the face in gentle circular massage-like movements and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Repeat the massage one more time before rinsing the face with warm water. After this you won’t need a moisturizing cream because honey will leave you skin satin soft.

Pineapple facial scrub:

Pineapple is a natural exfoliant that can do wonders for everybody with dull and dry skin. You will need a piece of pineapple plus the ingredients for the oatmeal scrub. You need to crush the pineapple and mix it with the oatmeal and honey. Wash your face and apply the mixture in a way I described above. Leave it on the face for 5 minutes and then rinse.
